Thailand's GDP will never fall to -4%
Miss aroonrote srisurin No. 11 Section: 6911
Summary
Deputy Prime Minister Kobsak Sabhavasu said that Thailand’s GDP will not low as much as -4%, as suggested by economist Olarn Chaipravat. Mr Olarn said that if there is no stimulus measure, the GDP could contract 4.05% due to the slump in auto and electronics industry. Mr. Kobsak said that we should not worry too much about growth but we should worry about unemployment.
Personal response
In my opinion, I agreed with Mr. Kobsak that we should worry about unemployment rather than the number of GDP because we should focus on poor people not rich people.
